Directions to the falls:
  1. From Greenville, head north on U.S. 276.
  2. Just north of Furman, U.S. 25 and U.S. 276 branch off.Continue following U.S. 276 for 10.4 miles to where it meets HWY 11.
  3. Follow U.S 276/HWY11 for 5.4 miles to where U.S. 276 leaves to the right.
  4. Turn right on U.S. 276 and follow it for 1.7 miles and turn left on Lakemont Road.
  5. Turn right onto Asbury drive just after turning onto Lakemont Road.
  6. Follow Asbury drive approximately 0.9 mile to the parking area.
  7. The trailhead is just on the other side of the small creek.
  8. Follow the Asbury Trail for 1.9 miles.
  9. There is a cable bridge crossing Mathew's Creek here. It consists of a walking cable and a hand-hold cable.
  10. Within a few yards of leaving the creek crossing, join the Natureland Trust Trail and turn right.
  11. Follow the Natureland Trust Trail for approximately 0.4 mile to a pile of rocks beside the trail.
  12. Depart from the Natureland Trust Trail to the right here.
  13. Within a few yards there is a Caesar's Head State Park Kiosk warning you that you are approaching the Asbury Hills Camp property.
  14. Continue 0.6 mile to another pile of rocks on the beside the trail. There is a spur trail that leads off to the right here.
  15. Follow the spur trail down past Moonshine Falls. This is where the cross-country travel begins.
  16. Continue down to the base of this ridge and bear left at the creek to reach the falls.
